The day after we moved, Montana had it's Second Annual Transplant picnic. This time the state government got in on it. Of course the Organ and Tissue Donation stamp had just come out, so that was a big thing. I got to go to the capitol and see the Lt. Governer again. We saw her the first year too. Her name is Judy Martz. She gave her sister a kidney! |
When I was in kindergarten, I got to do some stuff with the first graders! I had lunch with them and story time and even music. Here I am on my first day of school in Billings. It was neat to be around all those kids (3 classrooms full!), but since I have to take anti-rejection medicine, I can catch colds and things a lot easier than other kids. I had to be in the hospital 4 times during my kindergarten year. |
I got to go my first birthday party in kindergarten! We went bowling and it was so fun. I even tried a cupcake for the very first time! My Mommy was so excited to see me eating something new. |
We finally bought our very first house in January of 1999! I got to have my room painted green (my favorite color!) and I have my own backyard! |
In February 1999 some friends of ours had a little baby named Adea and I got to hold her! I needed a little help with her head though. |
I even got a swing set for my backyard! And it's green!!! (of course!). I had a little trouble staying on the swing at first, but I'm better at it now. |
